Animal Puzzle Pieces
Bible:
Sheep are mentioned in the Bible more than 500 times, more than any other animal. The Bible refers to God as our Shepherd, The Lord is my Shepherd...(Psalm 23:1), and His people as His sheep, My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27).

Objectives:
In this lesson you will create an artwork out of recycled materials.
Materials:
old puzzle pieces, paint, paint brushes, black crayons, scissors, glue, card stock, 2"x 2" white card stock, glitter
Process:
- Decide what animal you want to create.
- Draw a "body" shape in the middle of a piece of card stock.
- Get enough puzzle pieces to cover your shape.
- Paint the puzzle pieces the color you want your animal to be. While the paint is wet, sprinkle glitter on them. Let your pieces dry.
- Glue your puzzle pieces inside the shape. You may want to save a piece or two for the hair on your animal's head.
- Draw your animal's head on white card stock and cut it out.
- Use a black crayon to draw your animal's eyes and nose. Glue the head on your animal and glue any puzzle pieces you saved for hair on the top of the animal's head.
- Use a black crayon to draw your animals legs, feet, and a tail.
