Clay Roosters, Owls, & Fish
Clay is an earthy material that is sticky and easily molded when wet. Some clay is baked in an oven, called a kiln. Some clay is laid out to dry. It is called air dry clay. We will be using air dry clay.
Just as clay artwork made by an artist is his work, you are the work of the Lord. The Bible says:
Just as clay artwork made by an artist is his work, you are the work of the Lord. The Bible says:
"Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand"
(Isaiah 64:8).
When the Lord created you, he designed everything about you. He made each of us unique. Your clay artwork will be unique too. No two pieces will look exactly alike, so don't worry if your clay doesn't look exactly like your friends.
