Farm Animal Books
In Genesis 1:24, God said, "Let the land produce living creatures..." I like how God created some animals to live in the desert, some to live in the jungle, and others to live on farms. When I was a little girl I liked to visit my grandparent's farm in rural Virginia. I would spend most of the summer there. I got to see a lot of animals that live on farms during my visits. We are going to look at two artists that include farm animals in their work.

What kind of things did Grandma Moses paint?
Why do you think she chose these things?
Grandma Moses tells stories about her life through her art. Great art tells stories. Another artist that tells stories is Ed Emberley. He is an author and an illustrator. That means he writes a story and draws the pictures for the story. This is a picture of one of his books.
