Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men...
Colossians 3:23
During this project you will combine work completed during grammar with art. As you put this project together remember that you are creating it to bring glory to the Lord
Objectives:
In this lesson you will:
- learn about #tapepoetry artwork
- experiment with acrylics & create a painting
- incorporate a poem you have written into your artwork
- explore and express your individual style
Materials:
paper, pencils, acrylic paints, brushes, paint sponges, painter's tape/masking tape, fine tip black sharpies, white uni-ball Signo pens
Process:
An unnamed artist assembled a collection of poetry, words of wisdom, and words of love over a number of years. The artist wanted to share their collection with others so they created #tapepoetry, a way to bring poetry into our daily lives. You can follow and share #tapepoetry on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or your favorite social media platform.
These are examples of #tapepoetry.
